Termoflex XF 13 mm is a versatile self-adhesive closed cell foam insulation for campervans, van conversions, motorhomes and vehicle interiors. Its water absorption is extremely low and its high water vapour resistance makes it particularly suitable for vehicle environments where both temperature and humidity fluctuate.

Easy self-adhesive installation

The rear surface of Termoflex XF 13 mm has a strong factory-applied adhesive. No separate contact adhesive is normally required when the insulation is installed onto a properly prepared surface.

Before installation, make sure the surface is clean, completely dry and free from grease, oil, wax, silicone and loose contamination.

For larger panels, position the material first and remove the protective liner gradually. Press the foam firmly onto the surface as you work. A roller can be used to apply consistent pressure across the adhesive layer.

Flexible enough for real vehicle interiors

Van interiors are rarely flat. Body panels contain curves, recesses, reinforcing structures and transitions that can make rigid insulation difficult to fit.

The flexible elastomeric structure of Termoflex XF allows the material to follow these shapes while maintaining close contact with the underlying surface.

The material can be cut easily with a sharp utility knife, making it suitable for both professional conversions and DIY campervan projects.

Thermal performance

For colder climates or vehicles designed for extensive winter use, the 19 mm version can be selected where sufficient installation depth is available.

19 mm is designed for applications where greater thermal resistance is the priority and enough installation depth is available.

Using more than one thickness in the same van is often the most practical solution. A 13 mm layer can be used on the main walls and roof, while 6 mm material covers structural members and restricted areas.
